A love of kind service, delicious food, wine, travel and managing to bundle those up into the whole work thing began with my first job (berry picking), my first trip abroad (Italy) in the late ‘70s, my first employment around delicious food and excellent wine program (David Counter’s Café Zenon) in the 80s, and wholesale wine sales from the late 80s to the present, where I now direct sales for a handful of import portfolios at Galaxy Wine Company in Portland, Oregon. All along the way I met up with a barrelful of interesting and wonderful people, visited the beautiful wine corners of the world, ate platefuls of mouth-watering food and didn’t spit much wine.
